History

Joint stock company ATON-HT has been operating since August 2005. The company concentrates on innovative technologies for hazardous waste treatment and recovery of valuable materials. Technologies that are prepared and implemented here are based on original MTT (Microwave Thermal Treatment) method, which is the property of the Company and which is protected by patent in Poland and abroad (registration no. P-377957). Basing on MTT technology we have constructed test system designed for conducting tests on asbestos neutralisation. The solution we present offers the opportunity to build reactors where it is possible to neutralise in very high temperatures vast array of hazardous waste, and at the same time such equipment does not pose any danger to natural environment and equally important – the operation costs are lower than operation costs of any known devices and systems.  

On the basis of conducted research we can say that microwave method can fill the technological gap that has occurred. The very important merit of microwave method is the opportunity to neutralise asbestos waste that are polluted by toxic substances (used transformer oils containing PCB, paints, varnishes and some insulating substances, etc.), which are not allowed to be stored as typical asbestos waste.
